Shyam Bharti

My name is Shyam Narayan Bharti. I belong to Natthupur Laudhana Ambedkar Nagar Uttar Pradesh India. My fathers’ name is Mr. Ram Nath and mothers’ name is Mrs. Jagwanti Devi. I have three brothers including me, Mr. Satyendra Kumar and Mr. Yogendra Kumar. I have done my schooling from 6th to 12th at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Faizabad. I have done Graduation (B.COM) and Post-Graduation (M.COM) in Commerce from DR. Ram Manohar Lohiya Awadh University Faizabad (Ayodhya) India.

Also, I have done Master of Art in Social Work in Child Rights (Four months) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai. Subsequently, I have completed Master of Philosophy (M. PHIL) in the School of Management and Labour Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai. My M. PHIL research topic is ‘Employability and Livelihood of Construction worker: Evidence from Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh’.

I am currently doing PhD in the School of Management and Labour Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai and my current research entitled ‘Construction Labour Dimensions: A Study of Migrant in India’.

My research area of interest is Labour Economics, Labour Studies, Labour Law, Precarious Employments, Social Security, Migrants Construction Labour/Migrant Workers.

Additional qualification, I have done many national and international conferences/webinar from prestigious institutes/university. Also, I have done many national seminars from premier institutes. Furthermore, I have done many trainings program from V.V. Giri National Labour Institute Noida India. And also, have done research methodology workshops from prestigious institutes. I have done short term courses from NIT and one internship programme from Bihar India.
