Faiz Ahamad

Dr. Faiz Ahamad is an early career researcher and received his Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Organization Behavior from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Having experience in interdisciplinary research works, one of his research interests is to explore the impact of digitalization on organizational processes such as employer branding, talent management, organization sustainability, etc. His research works have been accepted and presented by him in some of the best business management and data science conferences and a few of them are either published or under review in peer-reviewed journals such as Human Resource Management Review. For example, he has presented research works at Computational Social Science (CSS) Conferences such as 2nd Euro CSS, Germany, 2018; 3rd Euro CSS, Switzerland, 2019; IC2S2, MIT, USA, 2020. He has also worked on two data science research projects where he extracted social media data to understand social phenomena. The first project was at the University of Helsinki, Finland and the second project was done at Kadir Has University, Istanbul. Here, he along with other researchers extracted tweets shared by political leaders and analyzed them to understand their behavior and preferences, applying text mining and other computational techniques. He has received numerous grants and awards from international organizations and institutes for his research works such as those from Academy of International Business, USA; Association of Computing Machinery, USA; ETH Zurich, Switzerland; Russell Sage Foundation, SICSS Istanbul, Turkey etc.
